Ingredients
  

Mozzarella Sticks
  • 12 pieces mozzarella sticks
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 cup Italian breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Freeze mozzarella sticks until firm.
  2. Dredge in flour, dip in egg, and coat in breadcrumbs twice.
  3. Freeze again briefly, then fry until golden.

Notes

Freezing is essential to keep cheese from melting too quickly.
