Crescent Twists
  • 1 tube refrigerated crescent roll dough 8 oz
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 0.25 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1.5 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch salt
Icing
  • 0.5 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp milk plus more if needed
  • 0.25 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Unroll crescent dough, press seams together, and brush with melted butter.
  4. Sprinkle cinnamon mixture evenly, fold dough in half, and cut into strips.
  5. Twist strips and place on baking sheet. Bake 10–12 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Whisk icing ingredients and drizzle over warm twists before serving.
