Method
- Wash and dry apples thoroughly, remove stems, and insert wooden sticks.
- Combine sugar, corn syrup, and water in a saucepan; bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Cook without stirring until candy thermometer reads 300°F (150°C).
- Remove from heat and stir in white gel coloring and vanilla extract.
- Dip apples one at a time, swirling to coat evenly, and place on parchment paper.
- Sprinkle edible glitter and sanding sugar before the coating hardens.
- Allow to cool completely before serving.
Notes
Best enjoyed within 2 days. Keep in a cool, dry place to preserve shine and texture.
