Ingredients
  

Pizza
  • 1 lb pizza dough
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella
  • 0.5 cup fresh mozzarella torn
  • 1 lemon thinly sliced
  • 1 lemon zest
  • 0.25 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 0.5 tsp crushed red pepper flakes optional
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • fresh basil for garnish

  • Pizza stone or baking sheet
  • Rolling Pin
  • Chef’s knife
  • Cutting board

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 475°F with pizza stone inside.
  2. Roll dough and brush with olive oil and garlic.
  3. Top with mozzarella, lemon slices, lemon zest, and parmesan.
  4. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  5. Bake 12–14 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  6. Garnish with basil and drizzle with olive oil before serving.

Notes

Use Meyer lemons for a sweeter, less tangy flavor.
