Ingredients
  

Main Dough
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2.25 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm milk 110°F
  • 0.25 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.33 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp salt
Garlic Butter
  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • Pinch of salt
  • Parmesan cheese optional garnish

Method
 

  1. Combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let stand until foamy.
  2. Whisk melted butter and egg, then add yeast mixture.
  3. Add flour and salt to form a soft dough.
  4. Knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth.
  5. Let rise 1–1½ hours until doubled.
  6. Shape into 12–15 balls and arrange in greased pan.
  7. Let rise 30–45 minutes until puffy.
  8. Mix garlic butter and brush over rolls before baking.
  9. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 18–20 minutes until golden.
  10. Brush again with garlic butter and sprinkle with Parmesan.
